Many Minot drivers ask us about the relationship between Dodge and RAM. Is RAM Dodge?Who owns RAM?We’re here to help. Dodge became a brand way back in 1900, and by 1914, they began their journey into truck manufacturing. In 1981, Chrysler bought Dodge and kept their most popular models. This included the best-selling Dodge RAM pickup trucks. From the model year 1981 to 2009, RAM trucks were known as “Dodge RAM” trucks.
